Terms of Use

These terms govern your use of the HybridOps public site, the Learn platform, Academy tracks, and related services. By using these services you agree to these terms.

Last updated: 17 March 2026

1. Who we are

These terms are between you and HybridOps. References to "HybridOps", "we", "us", or "our" in these terms refer to that entity.

For questions about these terms, contact us at legal@hybridops.tech or via the contact form.

2. Use of the public site

You may access and use the public site for lawful purposes including evaluating the HybridOps platform, Academy, and related services, and for general information.

You must not:

  • Use the site for any unlawful purpose or in a manner that violates applicable law.
  • Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the site, platform, or underlying infrastructure.
  • Scrape, copy, or systematically extract content for commercial redistribution without permission.
  • Introduce malicious code, conduct denial-of-service attacks, or interfere with the operation of any HybridOps service.
  • Impersonate HybridOps or any other person or entity.

3. HybridOps Learn — accounts and access

To access Academy tracks, HybridOps Copilot, or private documentation, you must create a Learn account. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account.

Access to paid services is personal and non-transferable. You may not share, resell, or sublicense your access credentials or entitlements to any third party.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, engage in abuse, or are inactive for an extended period following written notice.

4. Academy subscriptions and payments

Academy Access and HybridOps Copilot subscriptions are billed on a recurring basis (monthly or yearly as selected) through Stripe. Prices are shown at the point of purchase and are inclusive of any applicable taxes unless otherwise stated.

Cancellation

You may cancel a subscription at any time through your account. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. Access remains active until that date. No pro-rata refunds are issued for the remainder of a billing period except where required by law.

Statutory rights

If you are a consumer in the UK or EEA, you have a 14-day right of withdrawal from the date of purchase under applicable distance selling regulations, except where digital content has been accessed with your consent before the withdrawal period expires. Where you have accessed the service, your right of withdrawal is limited accordingly.

Price changes

We may change subscription prices on reasonable notice. You will be notified before any price change affects your existing subscription. Continued use after the effective date of a price change constitutes acceptance of the new price.

5. Guided delivery, bootcamps, and team training

Guided bootcamps, private cohorts, and team or institutional training engagements are subject to separate commercial agreements. The scope, pricing, delivery schedule, cancellation terms, and any service-level commitments for such engagements are defined in the relevant order form or statement of work. These terms of use apply in the absence of, and are supplemented by, any such commercial agreement.

6. Intellectual property

Open-source code (MIT-0)

Unless stated otherwise, source code in HybridOps public repositories is licensed under the MIT No Attribution (MIT-0) licence. You may use, copy, modify, merge, publish, distribute, sublicense, and sell copies of the software without restriction and without attribution. See spdx.org/licenses/MIT-0.html.

Documentation and diagrams (CC BY 4.0)

Unless stated otherwise, documentation and diagrams in HybridOps repositories are licensed under Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International (CC BY 4.0). You may share and adapt the material for any purpose, including commercially, provided you give appropriate credit and indicate if changes were made. See creativecommons.org/licenses/by/4.0.

Academy content

Academy course materials, guided labs, and content delivered through the LMS or private documentation surface are proprietary to HybridOps. Access granted through an Academy entitlement is a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the material for your own learning. You may not redistribute, reproduce, or commercially exploit Academy content.

Branding

The HybridOps name, wordmark, and associated branding assets are proprietary to HybridOps and are not covered by MIT-0 or CC BY 4.0. No rights to use the branding are granted except for nominative, descriptive references.

Third-party marks

Third-party vendor names and logos referenced on this site (including Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud, Kubernetes, Proxmox, VyOS, and others) are trademarks of their respective owners. References are for descriptive purposes only and do not imply endorsement or sponsorship.

7. Disclaimers and limitation of liability

The public site, documentation, blueprints, and evaluation materials are provided for information and evaluation purposes. They do not constitute professional advice and should not be relied upon as a substitute for your own technical assessment.

HybridOps makes reasonable efforts to keep content accurate and services available, but does not guarantee uninterrupted access, error-free operation, or fitness for any particular purpose. Services are provided on an evolving product basis and may be changed or withdrawn with reasonable notice.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, HybridOps's total liability to you arising from or in connection with these terms or any service shall not exceed the greater of (i) the amount you paid to HybridOps in the 12 months preceding the claim, or (ii) £100. Nothing in these terms excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be excluded by law.

8. Third-party services

HybridOps services operate with the support of third-party providers including Cloudflare, Stripe, and Google Cloud Platform. Your use of those providers' services is subject to their own terms. HybridOps is not responsible for the acts or omissions of third-party providers.

9. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via the Learn platform or by email where you have an active account. Continued use of the services after the effective date of updated terms constitutes acceptance.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising from or in connection with these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales, except where applicable consumer protection law requires otherwise.
